PFU’s roots weave back to 1973 when Fujitsu founded PANAFACOM, a joint venture to develop minicomputers. Years later, in 1987, USAC Denshi and PANAFACOM merged to establish PFU Limited (PANAFACOM, USAC), the hardware innovation arm of Fujitsu. In 1983 we launched our first document scanner.
